Robert has been a practicing Quantity Surveyor since 1977, and has the overall responsibility for professional performance and efficiency at Robert Martell and Partners. Robert specialises in alternative procurement advice, project management and value engineering studies as well as all aspects of cost consultancy on projects from £50,000 to £300 Million.
As Robert specialises as an employer’s agent and risk management, Robert regularly acts as a Part 35 Expert Witness in Court, arbitration and adjudication proceedings.
After qualifying as an RICS Accredited Mediator in 2009, Robert was elected to the RICS Mediators Panel in August 2011 and regularly acts as Mediator on construction, general commercial and neighbour/boundary disputes of which over 90% are successfully settled.
George re-joined RMP after spending time working in finance in London. His primary role is servicing our corporate clients acting as Project Manager/Employers Agent on our major housing schemes with national house builders. George also acts on niche bespoke projects as a Contract Administrator and Quantity Surveyor. George also acts as company secretary in the role of health and safety, financial, professional and insurance compliance.
Mukhtar has been at RMP’s for four years. Mukhtar has many years’ experience in Project Management, undertaking building surveys and carries out clerk of work inspections on new build developments.
Guy undertakes Home Buyers and Full Building Surveyors for RMP as well as undertaking red book valuations.
Steve is our Clerk of Works and oversees the quality and safety of work on our construction sites, making sure that building plans and specifications are being followed correctly. His duties include: performing regular inspections of the work on site and comparing completed work with drawings and specifications.
Lisa is our Office Manager and Project Coordinator who assists with the day to day running of the office as well as maintaining close communication with contractors and clients to ensure that each job has the relevant documentation required at handover.
Michael joined us in April 2021 as an Assistant Surveyor. Having studied BSc Building Surveying at Reading University, Michael’s ambition is to become a Surveyor and eventually transition to Project Management, ideally running the two simultaneously. Michael currently assists Project Management and Operations Directors, George Martell within the office, on tasks including completing Home and Building Surveys, Party Wall inspections and attending site visits.
Henry is our Office Administrator and assists Office Manager, Lisa. Henry also helps with the bookkeeping, filing and updating company records.
